Original letter from Paul H. Engel, Radm, USN (Retired) in which he writes to ask for a role in supporting Ronald Reagan for President. "After spending the last five years in Washington I am thoroughly convinced that a dramatic change is needed. I am particularly frustrated with the Pentagon and the poor state of our defense preparedness.", The letter is dated August 7, 1980. The letter is addressed to Robert Nesen who later became the U.S. Ambassador to Australia.
