Print depicts the glorification of George Washington surrounded by angelic and allegorical images. "The Apotheosis of George Washington". Each print comes with a fact sheet about the artist and his work.
Looking upward to the dome, one sees Washington floating far overhead, a life-sized and heavenly vision. Constantino Brumidi's "The Apotheosis of George Washington" looms above.
