1943 Scarce Franklin D. Roosevelt Christmas Gift to White House Staff.  A unique Christmas gift president by President Roosevelt to White House staff in 1943. It is a brown/mahogany color magnifying glass.  The inscription reads "Christmas 1943 From F.DR."  When placed flat on the table it has a 1.75" convex bubble that magnifies the image below. Certainly ranks as one of the most unique presidential gifts to staff. Original, of course.
