1993 Clinton White House Official Menu for President Kim of Korea.  Was it a State Dinner or an Official dinner? The White House staff called it an "official" dinner, but President Clinton in his remarks that evening called it a State Dinner. Whatever you wish to call it this was a dinner honoring "His Excellency The Preident of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim. It was held at The White House November 23, 1993. It includes the gold embossed Seal of the President at the top and the gold edging around the borders. Original. 

Historical Notes

The tradition of State Dinners originated in 1874, when President Ulysses Grant hosted King David Kalakaua of the Kingdom of Hawai'i.
