Day of the Heroic Guerilla - Other hands will take up the weapons Cuba Poster. The poster features an image of Ernesto 'Che' Guevara who was a doctor from Argentina who helped in overthrowing Batista and the Cuban government. The photograph that the poster was based on was taken by Alberto Korda in 1960. The Center for Cuban Studies, which is noted at the lower left, was founded in 1972 so we believe this poster was produced by the organization sometime in the early 1970s to early 1980s. Che became somwhat of a cult figure representing a heoric guerilla fighter. Original.
