This patriotic envelope depicts a soldier standing guard before a Confederate encampment beneath the First National Confederate Flag, commonly known as the "Stars and Bars." Accompanied by the slogan "Death Before Dishonor," the design reflects themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and military honor that were frequently emphasized in Confederate patriotic stationery during the Civil War.
