1912 Eugene Debs & Emil Seidel Socialist Party Candidates Flyer. We don't see many Eugene Debs paper items from his presidential campaigns. This is a campaign paper collectible from his 1912 run for President of the United States. He was a controversial figure who imprisoned for opposing World War I, convicted under the Espionage Act for an anti-war speech in 1918. Emil Seidel was the ex-Mayor of Milwaukee who ran as his Vice President. Includes photos of each of them. On the reverse is an engraving of a Campaign speech of William Henry Harrison.  What this had to do with Debs and Seidel we do not know.
