1924 Hard to Find Democratic National Convention Delegate Badge. The convention nominated John W. Davis of West Virginia as President and Charles W. Bryan of Nebraska for Vice President. At the top thebadge depicts the skyline of New York City, where the convention was held with the designation DELEGATE, which suspends a red, white and blue patriotic ribbon with a second medallion with a spread winged eage and a view of the nation's capitol. Original.
This is the convention that you hear about that took a record 103 ballots to nominate John W. Davis as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
