Original program from the "Dinner with Ike" rally held at the Commonwealth Armory, Boston It includes the program, menu, a color print of a 1953 Eisenhower painting of Abraham Lincoln, and a duotone print of Eisenhower from a painting by Thomas Stephens. Dwight D. Eisenhower's "Address in Los Angeles to the Nationwide Republican "Dinner with Ike" Rallies. January 27, 1960. His address was carried by closed television circuit to "Dinner with Ike" rallies staged from coast to coast. The President made no mention of Richard M. Nixon who at this point was considered a sure bet to win the Republican presidential nomination. 

Historical Notes

Eisenhower had previously promise that he would endorse no one for the nomination.
