1988 G7 Economic Summit Leather Souvenir Bill & Card Case. Interesting collectible from the 14th G7 Summit held in Toronto Canada in 1988. An unofficial forum that brought heads of the richest industrialized countries together. The attendees (as listed on the front of the portfolio were  Brian Mulroney (Canada), Ronald Reagan (U.S.), Francois Mitterand (France), Margaret Thatcher (United Kingdom), Helmut Kohl (West Germany), Noboru Takeshita (Japan), Ciriaco De Mita (Italy) Jaques Delors (European Community). On the reverse the logos of Ford and CIBC are embossed at the bottom. 

Historical Notes

The Canadian Organization for the Rights of Prostitutes complained during the Summit that police had cracked down on sex workers. (No, we're not kidding).
