Eunice Kennedy Shriver was an American philanthropist and social activist who had a significant connection with the Special Olympics. She was the sister of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, and was born on July 10, 1921, in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA. Eunice Kennedy Shriver was known for her advocacy and dedication to the rights and well-being of individuals with intellectual disabilities, and she played a pivotal role in founding and promoting the Special Olympics movement.
