1968 Farmers & Agriculture for Nixon Campaign Paper Items. Two different paper collectibles from the 1968 presidential campaign of Richard Nixon. Each item targeted agriculture and farmer demographic. Includes, a sixteen page newspaper "The Farm and Hometown News" that was published by the Oregon Supporters of RIchard M. Nixon with the headline "The American Farmer Speaks Out Nixon' 68".  The second is an 8 page campaign brochure called "Nixon Agricultural Support Grow" Interesting reading showing how targeting niche groups of voters helped Nixon win the 1968 presidential campaign. Published by the United Citizens for Nixon. Original.

Historical Notes

In the 1968 president election republican Richard Nixon garnered 301 electoral votes vs Hubert Humphrey's 191 and George Wallace's 46.
