Program and ticket from the Joint Meeting of the Ninety-Seventh Congress of the United States Commemoration of the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Birth of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, held January 29, 1982. Includes both the program (with the original tassel) and the numbered ticket. George Bush served as a member of the Joint Committee on Arrangements. Original.
The Committee included members of both the Democratic and Republican parites, including but not limited to, Daniel Moynihan (New York), Tip O'Neill (Speaker of the House), Claude Pepper (Florida) and Mark Hatfield (Oregon).
