Hard to find small, 5/8" diameter button for the candidacy of Garner for President. Despite being Roosevelt's running mate and Vice President in 1933 and 1937, when Garner ran against FDR for the nomination hoping that Roosevelt would not run for a third term. Roosevelt did run for a third and fourth term and Garner's campaign evaporated.  Lithograph. “J. Hugh Campbell Dallas, Tex.” On curl. Union bug back stamp on reverse. Original.

Historical Notes
We could be sarcastic and point out that we guess part of the reason that Garner's campaign did not gain traction was a lack of funds - hence the small size button :)
