1993 George Bush Signed Letter With Clever Quip To Supporter. Typed letter (TLS) on the stationery of George Bush from the Bush family summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine, August 27 1993. The leter is addressed to Ralph Benson of Lexington, Virginia in response to Benson's thoughtful letter to the former President about his service to the country. At the end of the letter Bush added an asterik and then at the bottom of the letter added *this is the way I normally sign". George Bush is known for adding clever messages to an occassional letter. Includes the original letter, envelope with "George Bush" as the return address and the original auction record from a prior sale.

George H.W. Bush's home in Kennebunkport, Maine, known as Walker's Point, is a historic family retreat.
