Original historical campaign brochure promoting the democrats 1972 candidate George McGovern for President. McGovern wastes no words explaining why he is the candidate to defeat Richard Nixon for The White House.

This four page official campaign flyer was produced after McGovern dropped Thomas Eagleton from the ticket and replaced him with Sargent Shriver as his Vice Presidential running mate. 

The brochure, which features a bold photo of McGovern on the cover along with his campaign slogan "Come Home, America" includes the following dramatic statement:

"Four years ago Candidate Nixon announed he had a "secret plan" to end the war in Vietnam. Since then, 20,000 more Americans have died, 110,000 have been wonded, 553 soldiers have either been captured or reported as missing in action...."
