Fifty-six page program from the 1964 Dinner Honoring California Senator George Murphy along with four different campaign items. He is the first U.S. actor to be elected to a statewide office in California, long before Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her served from 1965 to 1971. Along with the program are two Murphy campaign buttons, a tie tack and a minutes for Murphy sticker. The program includes tributes from Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon as well as a photo of actor John Wayne who was on the committee. Original.
