1876 George Washington Centennial Celebration Peace Textile.Issued for 1876 U.S. Centennial Textile sshowing George Washington, with Scales of Justice and Peace 1776 issued for the Centennial in Philadelphia (Exposition) in 1876. Produced by Cranston Print Works and trimmed from large step and repeat style and then trimmed to smaller pieces. . The left and right margins were wrapped around a piece of cardboard which can either be flattened when framed, pulled tight to remove the creases or trimmed. Would look excellent framed. Original. 

Historical Notes

Cranston Print Works was established in 1807 that printed on cotton and founded by Rhode Island Governor, WIlliam Sprague.
