Rare Mountain Road lottery ticket signed by George Washington. The Mountain Road Lottery was led by George Washington  and in 1768 and the funds were going to be used to build a road in Virginia thru the Allegheny Mountains. Lotteries were common at the time, and a young George Washington was involved in several of them. This one failed to achieve its goal and King George III banned all lotteries two years later.

It was very attractively and professionally matted and framed with portrait of Washington and commemorative plaque.  The ticket was purchased by the owner at auction, in 1999.  Tickets to this lottery signed by George Washington are obviously hard to find and often sell for considerably more than this price. However, this ticket was trimmed at one point in history at the top and bottom which means the lottery ticket number is no longer visible.  So this is your opportunity to acquire this rare George Washington signed ticket at a very reasonable price and ready for display in your office, den or library. Original of course.

Comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee and a Certificate of Authenticity from a Forensic Document Examiner.
