1919 Letter Signed By Then Governor of Massachusetts Calvin Coolidge. Signed letter from then Governor of Massachusetts (and future President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge. On Letterhead, dated June 18th 1919,  stating that the "bearer of this communicationis, Mr.  Henry Lasker of Springfield Massachusetts " is a very reputable citizen of this Commonwealth and is entitled to every consideration that can e shown to him. I will appreciate any courtesies that may e extended to him. " Henry Lasker was born in Lithuania and emigrated to the United States, and became the first Jewish lawyer in Springfield, Massachusetts and was involved in city politics and Jewish affairs. 

Dated June 18 1919. Nicely double-matted and framed along side a photo of Coolidge. 

Comes with a Certiicate of Authenticy from Tod Mueller of Todd Mueller Autographs, Colorado. 

Historical Notes

Calvin Coolidge fostered an unusual friendship with a pet raccoon named Rebecca. Coolidge was known for his frugality and commitment to limited government.
