Original signed commencement program from 10 time presidential candidate Harold Stassen. Although Stassen ran for the Republican nomination for President ten times between 1940 and 1992 he never won his parties nomination. He served as Governor of Minnesota from 1939 to 1943.
During his time as Governor Stassen attended the Commencement services for Hutchinson High School on May 28, 1941 where he graciously signed this program. Stassen is listed inside as giving the Commencement Address.
