Scarce 1929 President Herbert Hoover congressional inaugural invitation set. Prepared and distributed by members of Congress to VIP's and invited guests. Includes the original inaugural invitation, inauguration ceremonies program portrait of Hoover and portrait of Vice President Curtis. Also includes the original printed outer envelope although the envelope is spotted. Original. Distributed just months before the great stock market crash and the beginning of the Great Depression which is likely a contributing factor to why so difficult it is find these, especially with all the pieces included. Original.
