Original letter from Herbert Hoover to a J.S. Berry of Philadelphia. The letter was sent on Hoover's personal letterhead September 17, 1928. With the letter comes a five page handwritten draft of the letter Mr. Berry sent to President Hoover. (Rarely do we get to see the text of letters sent TO presidents.) We cannot quite make out all of the words in the letter, but apparently Mr. Berry was expressing his opinon on the Virginia attack on an amendment to the constituation and his support of Mr. Hoover's candidacty for president. The response letter from Hooever thanks Mr. Berry for his comments  "I deeply appreciate the friendship and support which your letter conveys. It is signed in ink "Yours faithfully, Herbert Hoover.  Also included is the envelope postmarked September 19, 1928 to Mr. Berry. Comes with our 100% guarantee of authenticity.
