1968 Superb Collection of 14 Different Democratic Convention Badges. We believe this display was likely presented by Bastian Brothers, the manufacturers of the badges that year, to members of the Convention Committee as either samples or gifts. Each badge is inscribed with a different position title, which includes badges often seen like "Press", "Sergeant At Arms" etc., and also includes badges rarely if ever seen, with designations like "White House", "Host Committee", "House of Representatives" and "Senate Campaign Committee" which are not usually seen in convention badges. Adding to that explanation is that the display was obtained from Bastian Brothers by the original owner. A complete list of the badge titles are listed below.
Certainly an unusual and attractive display that we doubt we will ever seen anywhere again. An excellent edition to any political collection.
All of the hanging bars are blank with the exception of the one marked "Executive Director" and "Arkansas"
