1949 Jefferson-Jackson Victory Dinner Program. The event was held at the Mayflower and Statler hotels in City of Washington and celebrated the victory of Harry Truman in the 1948 presidential election. 40 pages with the original tassel.
The Jefferson-Jackson Dinners, traditionally hosted by the Democratic Party, serve as fundraising events, celebrating party achievements, honoring Democratic principles, and fostering unity among members while promoting candidates, strengthening grassroots support, and rallying momentum for upcoming elections.
