1960 Carters Warehouse Plains Georgia 8 Different Original Bills & Invoices. Certainly something you don't see every day! Set of eight different bills & invoices addressed to "Carters Warehouse" in Plains Georgia, where President Jimmy Carter and family owned and operated their famous peanut farming business. The documents are all from 1960, before Carter ran for State Senate, Governor of Georgia and then President of the United States.  The third and last set of these documents we were fortunate to have acquired. Original. 

Historical Notes

Jimmy Carter's peanut business, which he started in Plains, Georgia in the 1950s, was initially a small operation that grew to become a successful enterprise. He marketed his products under the name "Peanuts for Profit," and his peanuts were known for their high quality. The business helped Carter gain valuable experience in entrepreneurship and management.
