Includes all of the following:

1.Four hair stands dealed in plastic. 

2. Copy of the two page letter from Harry Gelbart to John Reznioff, of University Archives (noted presidential historian and authenticator) describing how he obtained the hair after giving JFK a haircut at Peter Lawford's home. Dated October 2, 1995.

3. Notarized "California All-Purpose Acknowledgment form" dated October 2, 1995 and referring to Gelbard's two -page letter. 

4. Chain of custody letter from owner dated Febraury 21, 1998. 

5. Copy of Los Angeles Times, dated January 10, 1961 with Story by Paul Coates on Harry Gelbart. 

6. Copy of story titled "Beverly Hills Barber Clips a President" (unknown newspaper)

7. Reprint from LIFE magazine, dated October 17, 1949 and titled "Barbarship War" that features Harry Gelbart.

Professionally framed and matted with descriptive bronze plaque and portrait of JFK with facsimile signature.

Excerpt from Gelbart letter:

"On one occassion, on a Sunday afternoon in July of 1963, after giving the President a haircut at Lawford's beach house in Santa Monica, Lawford's manager, a gentleman named Milt Ebbins, suggested that I collect the hair that I had cut to save as a momento. Who would have dreamt that in a few short months, the head upon which President Kennedy's hair grew in such abundance would be so cruelly destroyed?"
