This is an original set of two matching license plates (same number on each, one for the front and one for the rear of vehicle,) distributed as part of the 1961 inauguration celebration of John F. Kennedy as President of the United States. It is increasingly difficult to find matched pairs with identical numbers. The plates are manufactured in red white and blue with an American flag and U.S. capitol graphic on the left side. Metal plates. These are the official license plates authorized by the Inaugural Committee. Original.
