Original 1964 presidential campaign poster promoting “Main Street USA for HHH and LBJ,” measuring an impressive 37.5" x 49.5". The bold red-and-blue typography and patriotic star accents capture the optimistic messaging of the Johnson–Humphrey ticket. Notably, Hubert Humphrey appears above Lyndon Johnson—an unusual design choice that may reflect regional or grassroots campaign emphasis. Condition is weak, with edge tears, tape marks, folds, and light staining, but it remains a striking and scarce display piece. Original.
Issued during the landslide 1964 campaign of Lyndon B. Johnson and running mate Hubert H. Humphrey, posters like this emphasized broad, populist appeal—“Main Street USA” symbolizing everyday Americans.
