1864 Abraham Lincoln Civil War Union Ticket NY Newspaper. October 27 ,1864 New York Daily Tribune complete 8 page newspaper with Union ballot supporting Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson for President and Vice President. Great content, with stories regarding the "rebel states", reports from the field, a "Startling Disclosure - Democratic Fraud Upon the Soldiers", lists of killed and wounded soldiers and countless more stories. Mentions Horace Greeley as a delegate supporting Lincoln, who also just happened to e the principal owner-editor of the newspaper at the time. Original, and in amazingly good shape for a 160 years old.
In 1864 Horace Greeley owned a significant share oft he New York Daily Tribune. He initially initially opposed Lincoln's renomination but had a change of heard as Union military successes increased.
