1901 Scarce William McKinley Second Inauguration Floor & Promenade Silk Ribbon. Gold ribbon with darker gold type. Double silk ribbon the backing ribbon is blank. Both have the fringes intact. One of several different ribbons listing specific entrance and seating designations that we have offered over the years- this one obviously intended for a VIP based on the Floor & Promenade designation. Original.
William McKinley's second presidential inauguration took place on March 4, 1901. Held on the East Portico of the U.S. Capitol, the ceremony marked the beginning of his second term. The event was attended by a large crowd, and McKinley delivered a speech emphasizing national unity and prosperity.
