2013 Set of 2 Different Medal of Honor White House Programs.
1. "The President welcomes you to The White House on the occasion of the presentation of the Medal of Honor to Captain D. Swenson, United States Army", October 15, 2013. 8 pages.
2. "The President welcomes you to The White Huse on the occasoin of the presentation of the Medal of Honor (Posthumously) to Chaplain (Captain) Emil J. Kapun United States Army". April 11, 2013".
Both programs include the gold embossed presidential seal on the cover as well as the original tassel.
On September 8, 2009, William D. Swenson was part of an operation to connect the Afghan government with native elders in the Ganjgal Valley in Eastern Kunar Province in Afghanistan, near the Pakistan border
Emil Kapaun was awarded the Medal of Hnor posthumously. He died in a prisoner of war camp after being captured.
