Handwritten draft of a letter that First Lady sent to actress Sally Struthers in June, 1986 to personally thank Ms. Struthers for attending a White House tennis tournament that raised funds and support for the First Ladies drug program.
One side of the letter is the handwritten note Nancy Reagan drafted in her own handwriting and then given to her personal White House assistant to be typed and sent. We acquired this wonderful letter directly from the White House staff member who worked as Mrs. Reagan's Director of Correspondence.
The opposite side is on The White House official embossed letterhead, dated June 5, 1986 to Miss Sally Struthers.
