1990 NATO 50th Anniversary Summit Event Held Off-Site in Washington, D.C. Official event menu from the working luncheon during the NATO Summit held April 24, 1990. The White House staff was responsible for producing the event menu so the style is exactly the same as if the event was held at The White House instead of the Mellon Auditorium except the Seal of the President was replaced by a gold embossed NATO 50 Summit logo at the top. The customary gold edging is also included. Original.
The 1990 NATO Summit on April 24th was held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. This historic site was chosen because it was where the North Atlantic Treaty was signed on April 4, 1949. The summit marked the 50th anniversary of the signing.
