1928 New York Mayor James Walker Forced to Resign During Corruption Scandal.  Photograph is dated on the reverse as March 8, 1928 a few days after Herbert Hoover was inaugurated as President, and during Walker's term in office as Mayor of New York during his days associated with the Tammnay Hall political machine.  The photo also includes Paul Block a close friend of Jimmy Walker and president Coolidge, a White House Police member and Joseph Johnson, commisioner of public works in New York City. Original.

Walker reportedly received large sums of money from businessmen looking for municipal contracts.
