Scarce and original flasher type campaign button produced by Cine-Vue, Yonkers,New Yor. These unique buttons "flash" between an image of President Nixon and the campaign slogan "Win With Nixon" and is framed with a red plastic. Great picture of a young Nixon . The reverse has a graphic of a Republican elephant log and "Vote Republican". Very good clean condition.

Historical Notes

Flasher buttons were manufactured using a process that allows the image to change (or flash) when the item is viewed from different angles. Oftentimes, the presidential candidate is seen from one angle, and the vice presidential candidate is seen from a different angle. Flashers were first used during the Eisenhower and Stevenson campaigns.
