PAN AM Vintage Airline Bag.  Features the vintage Pan Am logo on both sides. This particular bag was the property of NBC News correspondent and photographer Fred Montague and bears his name written on the top. Mr. Montague covered the trips of numerous presidents during the 28 years that he spent covering the various trips of presidents around the world.  Also included is a name and address label from Montague's wife and a TWA luggage tag from a different flight. Original.

During the 1960's and early 1970's Pan Am flew numerous trips for U.S. Presidents, particularly those trips that were overseas, and carried select members of the Press. This particular style Pan Am bag was used between 1960's and 1970s and was given to members of the press onboard a second media plane that flew members of the press on Presidential trips.

This is the second of two bags previously owned by Montague. The first bag was sold in one of our previous sales.
