The Gershwin Prize was presented to Paul McCartney by President Barack Obama in the East Room of the White House on June 2, 2010, followed by a star-studded concert featuring performances by Paul McCartney and tributes by major stars performing the songs that propelled McCartney to legendary status around the world. With the gold embossed Seal of the President at the top. Original.
Comes from the collection of a former White House staff member.
The list of entertainers included Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, the Jonas Brothers, Dave Grohl, Jack White, Elvis Costello, Emmy Lou Harris, Herbie Hancock, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Lang Lang, with remarks by comedian Jerry Seinfeld.
