We are proud to offer this 1865 President Abraham Lincoln Original Signature with a Certificate of Authenticity from a forensic document examiner and our guarantee of authenticity.
Signed and dated A. Lincoln Feb. 7 1865 in large bold print on some type of semi-stiff cover paper with fabric attachment on the left side. Reverse is blank. Original.
Lincoln met with William Lloyd Garrison, an anti-slavery leader and publisher on that date but we cannot confirm that it was signed during that meeting.
A marvelous item at a very attractive price. We were going to have this professionally matted and framed with archival glass but decided instead to first offer it to our customers so they can choose how to display this fine item.
