Rare Secret Service Presidential Gift Pins From Richard Nixon Visits to Florida & N. Carolina

The day after Richard Nixon won the 1972 Presidential election he celebrated his victory by taking Air Force One to his compound in Key Biscayne, Florida. The compound was sometimes referred to as The Florida White House. 

These unique pins were given to official guests to identify them to security personnel and the Secret Service allowing the individual to be in close proximity to the President. They are marked "Presidential Guest" with a Presidential seal inlaid in the center and are individually numbered beneath the presidential seal. 

The second pin is from Richard Nixon's last minute election trip to North Carolina, Albuquerque New Mexico and Ontario California. 

This is a unique opportunity acquire one of these original numbered pins that we recently acquired a number from the estate of a Crew Chief for Air Force One from 1966-1975. Each one is numbered. You will receive one of these original pins. The pins were from Richard Nixon's visit to Key Biscayne, Florida, November 8-12, 1972. We will include a copy of the documentation with your order. 

 

Historical Notes

As a bonus, we wlll include a photographic copy of the sheet and folder in which the pins are mounted, but since there are several pins mounted we cannot include the original.
