League of Women Voters sponsored the 1984 Presidential Debates featuring Republican Ronald Reagan vs Democrat Walter Mondale. Great caricatures of both candidates beside a rendering of a trophy with the Seal of the President graphic on the front. This debate was held in Kansas City, Missouri, October 21, 1984. Original and seldom seen glossy paper poster.
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan was 73, years old. In a debate with Walter Mondale, when asked if his age would hamper his ability to govern, Reagan replied, "I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience".
