Original Flight Certificate presented to lucky individuals who had the opportunity to have flown on the Presidential Helicopter as a guest of President Richard Nixon. Graphic of the Presidential Seal in the background and a photograph of the Presidential Helicopter at the top. An early example of these popular flight certificates, this one was specifically issued to Journalist an White House Correspondent Clifford Evans and signed, likely by the pilot (although we cannot make out the name). In preparation for the country's 200th anniversary celebration, Air Force One was temporarily renamed "The Spirit of '76" by President Nixon. Original.

Historical Notes
The "Air Force One" call sign was created after a 1953 incident during which the plane carrying President Dwight D. Eisenhower, entered the same airspace as a commercial airline flight using the same call sign
