Authentic Strands of Hair Received from Reagan's Barber. Unusual collectible that was give by Reagan's barber Milt Pitts to William Perkins who served as a member of the presidential inaugural committees from 1961, 1965, 1969 and 1973. Includes the signed Certificate of Authenticity from John Reznikoff, of University Archives including a bio of Mr. Perkins and a copy of Mr. Perkins letter to John Reznikoff.
An article in Time Magazine asked the question "What's Behind the Fascination with Presidential Hair?" and began the August 2018 article "Everyone wants a piece of the President of the United States. But some people take that idea literally."
