Ronald Reagan Presidential Fender Flag – Reagan White House Limousine Flag, 12" x 18". An impressive presidential automobile fender flag acquired as having been used on the front of President Ronald Reagan's official limousine. Measuring approximately 12 x 18 inches, the flag is printed on nylon and features the Seal of the President of the United States against a blue field with decorative fringe.

The current owner acquired the flag as a Reagan presidential limousine fender flag from a longtime collector of presidential memorabilia and stands behind its authenticity. While the flag remains mounted to its original display board, preventing examination of the concealed hoist edge where manufacturer or government contract markings would normally be found, its size, construction and materials are consistent with known Reagan-era presidential automobile flags.

During the Reagan administration, the size of presidential automobile flags was reduced from the earlier 18 x 26 inch format to the smaller 12 x 18 inch version used later in his presidency. This example conforms to that later size, which became the standard style seen on presidential motorcades.

One feature worth noting is the all-white fringe. Most Reagan-era presidential automobile flags encountered by collectors are finished with the more familiar gold-and-white fringe.
