1985 Scarce Official Ronald Reagan & George Bush Inaugural Medal Process Set. It is a "Process Set" of the face of the Reagan Inaugural Medal. It depicts the eight stages of the production phases of the 1985 Medal. The Medal is made by the Medallic Arts Company. Each medal is mounted on the solid walnut plaque, and can be hung on the wall. This is the final set, memorialized on the plaque at the bottom as #50 of the set of 50. Rarely seen. Original, of course.
The medal comemorates the 50th presidential inauguration. It was noted as such on the edge of the medals, beginning with the fifth step medal in the process and continuing thru the next three stages.
