1860s "South Carolina the Trouble-Maker of the Union" Civil War Patriotic Cover. South Carolina Palmetto Flag, The Black Flag and trouble-maker of the Union. We chastised them in 1832 and will finish the punishment in 1861." Needless to say the suggestion that the war would end in 1861 turned out to be be untrue. Original and unused.
