1968 Spiro "Ted" Agnew Letter and Cut Signature Framed Display. Includes a letter from then Maryland Governor Spiro Agnew thanking Herbert E Stallings for his congratulatory letter after Agnew's election as Vice President. Dated November 13, 1968 and signed "Ted Agnew". On oficial Maryland Executive Department letterhead. Also includes a color photo of Agnew with a cut signature of Agnew below. Wood framed. Spiro T. Agnew briefly used the nickname "Ted" during his college years at Johns Hopkins University to make his Greek-American name more familiar to others. However, he abandoned it later in life after feeling it didn’t reflect his identity well.
