1968 Official Program From LBJ White House State Visit of Sabah al-Salim al-Sabah - The evenings entertainment was provided by Robert Merrill one of the greatest stars of the Metropolitan Opera Company. This was one of only four State Dinners held at the Lyndon Johnson White House in 1968. 8 pages. With the embossed seal of the President on the cover and the original tassel.
HIS HIGHNESS, Shaikh Sabah al-Salim al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, paida state visit to the United States during the month of December 1968, at the invitation of President Lyndon B. Johnson. The two heads of state met at noon on December 11 to discuss the relations between their two governments and to review matters of common importance internationally.
