Scarce John F Kennedy Assassination Dinner Invitation To Canceled Event - Texas Welcome Dinner With Envelope. This is an original invitation to perhaps the most famous event that never took place. The Texas Welcome Dinner schedule for November 22nd 1963 in Austin Texas. President John F. Kennedy was headed next to Austin for this event sponsored by The State Democratic Executive Committee. The young President was assassinated that day and the event never took place. This is an original and official invitation to the event with the elusive outer envelope with the return adress of "The State Democratic Executive Committee 1010 Lavaca, Austin, Texas" which is rarely seen. We are offering another of these scarce invitation sets in a separate listing, this one is priced $100 less due to it having some wrinking and an additonal fold. Original.
All remaining assassination-related records (approximately 5,000 pages) were scheduled to be released by October 2017, with the exception of documents certified for continued postponement by the President
