1963 John F. Kennedy Assassination Artifacts. Produced by the State Democratic Executive Committee of Texas shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Texas. The documents were sent to VIPs as well as individuals who purchased tickets to the Texas Welcome Dinner that was canceled due to the president's assassination.  Includes the commemorative one page program to the event that was scheduled to be held November 22, 1963 at the Municipal Auditorium, Austin Texas. 

Also include are the two documents produced the the State Democratic Committee. The first is "This Country is Moving... And It Must Not Stop", which is the actual text of the speech that President Kennedy was scheduled to deliver at the Texas Welcome Dinner. The second is titled "We Are ... The Watchmen On The Walls of Freedom". It includes the text of the Speech that President Kennedy was scheduled to deliver in the Trade Mart in Dallas at noon on November, 22, 1963. A. 

While showing light wear and two stains each historical document is the original published by the Committee. 

Historical Notes

This is the program for the event that was scheduled to be held in Austin Texas on the day of Kennedy's assassination. The event was obviously never held and souvenirs and remembrances from this event are coveted by collectors. The program was to be held in honor of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson and their wives November 22, 1963 a the Municipal Auditorium, Austin Texas. Beautifully printed, with seals of the President, Vice President and Texas Governor John Connolly in bronze and black at the top.
